An iSCSI storage network offers that best combination of price and performance for connecting servers to storage. An iSCSI SAN can provide servers with the scalability, reliability, and performance that businesses require. The problem is that servers are often already overburdened with network traffic and adding an IP SAN only increases the workload.

An Alacritech^® iSCSI Scalable Network Accelerator™ will offload network processing from the host CPU and move it to an advanced TCP Offload Engine (TOE). By moving the processing off of the host system, the server will then be able to handle more network requests, move more data, support more users, and provide greater overall ROI to the datacenter.
